Wine Varietal: White Zinfandel
For all of our fans who are in the sweltering heat – this wine cocktail is just for you! The Strawberry Quencher is our twist on the perfect summer cocktail, the strawberry daiquiri. Made with Sutter Home White Zinfandel and light rum, this blended concoction is just what you need to beat the summer heat.
Ingredients:
-1 cup Sutter Home White Zinfandel
-1/2 cup light rum
-5 cups ice
-1 pint strawberry sorbet
-1 shot Triple Sec
-4 fresh strawberries
Instructions:
Blend all ingredients, adding ice as needed to get the desired consistency. Garnish with a strawberry slice.
Serve immediately.
Optional: Before serving, roll rim of glass in water then in sugar. Fill and serve immediately.
Optional: Add 1 shot lime juice
