As National Breast Cancer Awareness Month continues, we’re proud to pass along information from our Sutter Home for Hope collaborators, the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
Early detection is the best way to fight breast cancer, and now there’s an app designed to assist in that effort. The National Breast Cancer Foundation’s Early Detection Plan (EDP) allows you to manage your exam reminders, see your exam history, and learn more about:
- Clinical breast exams
- Mammograms
- Risk factors
- Signs and symptoms
- How to perform a breast self-exam
The importance of early detection cannot be stressed enough, and EDP is an excellent tool to have at your fingertips. Visit www.nationalbreastcancer.org to get started or download the app here.
